1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing tristonscales.co, Yaps On Record newsletters, Club content, or any associated services, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Intellectual Property — What You Keep and What You Grant Us
You keep ownership of any music, writing, images, video, or other content you submit through Submit Music, Write for Yaps, Take The Mic, or press inquiries.
By submitting, you grant Yaps On Record a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to review, store, publish, display, excerpt, and share your submission across our site, newsletter (Substack), YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, playlists, and other channels we operate, with credit to you as provided. See Submission Terms for specifics.
All site design, branding, logos, sample packs (Cereal Loops), merch designs, and original editorial remain property of Triston Scales / Yaps On Record. Do not copy, resell, or scrape without permission.
3. User Conduct
- Do not submit content you do not own or have permission to share.
- Do not submit hate speech, harassment, or explicit content involving minors.
- Do not attempt to hack, scrape aggressively, or disrupt the site or Club.
- Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Club members agree not to share paid content outside the Club.
4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Payments for sample packs, merch, and Breakfast Club memberships are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in USD unless otherwise stated. By purchasing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method.
Digital items: Sample packs (Cereal Loops), project files, and other downloads are final sale once delivered, except where required by law.
Club subscriptions: Recurring until canceled. You can cancel anytime via the customer portal. You retain access until the end of your billing period.
Merch: Physical items subject to carrier handling. Contact us promptly for damaged or incorrect shipments.
5. No Professional Advice and Disclaimers
Content on Yaps On Record is for informational and entertainment purposes. Music breakdowns, sample analysis, and industry commentary are not legal, financial, or career advice. Use your own judgment and consult professionals as needed.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yaps On Record and Triston Scales are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, submissions, purchases, or Club content. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes and Contact
We may update these terms as Yaps grows. We will post the new effective date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms. For questions, use the press form on the Yaps page or the main contact form.
